Our blow dry training course runs all year round at the Strand Hairdressing Academy.

Blow Drying Course Overview

Would you love to learn how to create the perfect blow-dry? This blow drying course was created to do just that. You will learn the process behind the blow dry so that it’s long-lasting and stays beautiful for days. Our training teaches you how to:

Prep the hair
Blast dry to create volume
Blow dry with a round brush
Pin your blow-dry
Use straighteners, and when to use them
Finish your blow-dry

Extra information:

You will need to purchase a head block to bring with you and the correct tools to use for the perfect Blow Dry.

A kit list will be sent to you once you have signed up for this course.

I had a great experience training at the Strand Training Academy. I combined my NVQ level 2 & 3 and trained one evening per week to fit round my current Job.
Once qualified I got a stylist position in salon and have never looked back!!

The experience today has been fully reassuring we talked about my hair on and after the consultation date on appointment day for added reasurance! The process has been incredible with absolutely eveyone being so polite even if they arnt your stylist ☺️ keria was with me today I do apologise if I have spelled your name wrong queen! 😅 but she was incredible i went from hating my hair to falling in love with the new colours! They are flawless the hairstyle came out better than my wanted design I couldn't be happier with today's experience! 💗 I couldn't recommend a place more. Loved my visit to the strand and with maggie (hopefully I’ve remembered her name!) my hair was beautiful and I loved the subtle changes to change my hair up but not make it too drastic. She was very complimentary of my hair which was nice! Lovely chat and would rebook with her again !

Our hair cuts were so lovely and we are so happy!
