Our Hairdressing Experience Days are the perfect opportunity for anyone considering a career in hairdressing to spend time inside a real training academy and discover what the industry is all about.

Whether you are leaving school, considering a career change, or simply curious about learning hairdressing skills, this hands-on experience will give you a genuine insight into professional salon training.

During the day, you will meet our experienced educators, explore our training facilities, and take part in practical demonstrations designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of hairdressing.

I had a great experience training at the Strand Training Academy. I combined my NVQ level 2 & 3 and trained one evening per week to fit round my current Job.
Once qualified I got a stylist position in salon and have never looked back!!

The experience today has been fully reassuring we talked about my hair on and after the consultation date on appointment day for added reasurance! The process has been incredible with absolutely eveyone being so polite even if they arnt your stylist ☺️ keria was with me today I do apologise if I have spelled your name wrong queen! 😅 but she was incredible i went from hating my hair to falling in love with the new colours! They are flawless the hairstyle came out better than my wanted design I couldn't be happier with today's experience! 💗 I couldn't recommend a place more. Loved my visit to the strand and with maggie (hopefully I’ve remembered her name!) my hair was beautiful and I loved the subtle changes to change my hair up but not make it too drastic. She was very complimentary of my hair which was nice! Lovely chat and would rebook with her again !

Our hair cuts were so lovely and we are so happy! She has the patience of a saint, my daughter was constantly talking to her and she took the time to listen to her every time and let her be heard and listened to her what she wanted to do with her hair.
