Our VTCT NVQ Level 2 Hairdressing Course will equip you with all the essential skills you need to embark upon your hairdressing career. The Strand training professionals will help you gain exceptional knowledge and skills within an exciting and inspiring hairdressing environment.We will guide you through each element of your NVQ course to reach your fullest potential. Combining demonstrations, seminars and workshops on live models, we will prepare you to enter the salon environment. After finishing this course you can embark on further training, advancing in colouring and stying.

NVQ Level 2	36 Week Programme	1 Day Per Week	£2,999 + £175 VTCT registration fee

Combine NVQ Level 2 & Level 3	52 Week Programme	1 Day Per Week	£6,499 + £350 VTCT registration fee

Or alternatively £175 Deposit + £280 per Month (24 Monthly Payments)

I had a great experience training at the Strand Training Academy. I combined my NVQ level 2 & 3 and trained one evening per week to fit round my current Job.
Once qualified I got a stylist position in salon and have never looked back!!

Course Details

Each unit in your course is designed to enhance your understanding of hair styling but also to develop your personal skills whilst interacting with clients whilst working in a salon.

The NVQ Level 2 Hairdressing course units include:

Health and safety practice in the salon
Client consultation for hair services
Shampoo, condition and treat the hair and scalp
Cut women’s hair to create a variety of looks
Colour and lighten hair
Style and finish hair
Set and dress hair
Plait and twist hair
Develop and maintain your effectiveness at work
Fulfil salon reception duties
Promote products and services to clients in the salon

Duration

One day per week for 36 weeks or if combining NVQ Level 2 & NVQ Level 3 one day per week for 52 weeks. Please note times and days may vary in each of our Academy’s for this programme so please ensure you check the exact timing for your academy of choice.

Cost

The course fee for the NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing is £2,499 + registration fee £175. The Strand Training Academy welcomes all ages and abilities, learning in a supportive and positive environment.

The experience today has been fully reassuring we talked about my hair on and after the consultation date on appointment day for added reasurance! The process has been incredible with absolutely eveyone being so polite even if they arnt your stylist ☺️ keria was with me today I do apologise if I have spelled your name wrong queen! 😅 but she was incredible i went from hating my hair to falling in love with the new colours! They are flawless the hairstyle came out better than my wanted design I couldn't be happier with today's experience! 💗 I couldn't recommend a place more. Loved my visit to the strand and with maggie (hopefully I’ve remembered her name!) my hair was beautiful and I loved the subtle changes to change my hair up but not make it too drastic. She was very complimentary of my hair which was nice! Lovely chat and would rebook with her again !
